TV Koper Capodistria reports on “two more” rail incidents during the week of 17-23 November 2025. At the town of Postojna south of Slovenia’s capital Ljubljana, a train hit rocks on the tracks. East of Ljubljana, near the town of Grosuplje, police arrested three suspected who they claim had cut security signal guides.

According to TV Koper Capodistria, incidents on Slovenia’s rail system include:

  • 26 August – Kocevje
  • 29 September – Bled Jezero
  • 8 October – Rakovnik
  • 17 November –
  • 20 November – Gravoho
  • 22 November – Postojna
  • 22 November – Veliko Mlacevo

Other incidents include chairs being thrown on the tracks, and damage to the tracks.

A Council for National Security has been formed to look into the incidents.
